Varietal composition: Pinot Nero 100%

Age of the vines: approximately 30 years

Soil composition: dolomitic-calcareous with a thin herbaceous layer

Exposure: north-east, north-west

Altitude: 500m above sea level

Growing system: guyot

Planting density: 7.500 plants/ha

Grape yield: 60 q/ha

Harvest: handpicked, in crates

Vinification: cold maceration, fermentation in steel tanks for 10 – 12 days with frequent pressing, malolactic conversion in barriques

Ageing: 20 -22 months in French oak barrique and tonneau, 24 months in bottles
